[The original notes for viewing the slide show circa 1996. I have moved the photos to the Google Photos album linked above.]
Bettie and Les Todd 1946-1996
Note: These pages and pictures are best viewed using Netscape 2.0 and more than 256 colors.
Pictures were taken with an Apple QuickTake 150 camera using the high-resolution setting. The camera holds 16 images which were downloaded into my PowerBook for later transfer onto another Macintosh. These pages were created on a Power Macintosh 7100/80AV.
Pictures have been reduced and optimized for viewing in the 600x360 window that Netscape provides when the toolbar is reduced to labels only and the directory buttons are hidden. The pictures were optimized in Adobe Photoshop 3.0 on a PowerMacintosh 5200 with a 15" monitor and look better when viewed at higher resoultions such as 800x600, 1024x768, or 1152x870. Each corresponding increase in screen resolution 'tightens' the pixelization of the images.
[The original] pages were created in Navisoft's Navipress 1.0.
Here are the pictures that I scanned from Dad’s slides and photos and contributions of family members. I distributed slideshow DVDs at the time and always have the pictures on my iPhone but wanted to make sure that those who care will always be able to see them with a simple click or bookmark.
I always joke with friends that most people save albums of their grandkids but I keep an album of my condo's kitchen remodel. The truth is in the pudding ... whatever that means.
Jenny and I took a vacation to DC and wanted to share some photos. Jen doesn't want her picture on the Internet, but these are semi-private since you have to have a link to see them.
